About
Experience
Robynne Pigeon (The Preschool Pigeon) has been teaching in Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms since 1997 and has worked in various positions in the Early Childhood field since 1991. She has taught in both preschool and kindergarten classrooms in both private learning centers and Christian schools.
One of her favorite things to do is designing a classroom environment that is a fun, creative and a hands-on place to learn. One of the ways she keeps her classroom an inviting and engaging place is by changing the themes and centers every month and creating new resources to spark students’ interest and help them to develop new skills.
A leading factor in helping her to deepen her content and engage students in deeper learning is the many years of training and experience she has with EL Education and Teaching for Transformation. She has incorporated these hands-on ways of teaching, learning, and living God’s story into her classroom teaching.

Teaching style
Robynne takes a hands-on, multi-sensory approach to teaching. and believes in differentiating her teaching methods in order to meet the needs of each learner. In her early childhood classroom, she aims to strike a healthy balance between play and academics, striving to incorporate academic skills into play centers to help students engage in more authentic learning experiences.
